Oh my! A meme! (No, it wasn't "Me!" I'm not that egotistical *cough*)

Short story short, 1cheezymonkey bestowed Prussia from Axis Powers Hetalia upon me. Since I'm already a big fan of both Prussia and Hetalia fanart, I think the hardest part was just trying to narrow it down to one or two pictures. 8D

Where to start...

This is my first video. :D Due to my obsession with Hetalia, all of the fanart I randomly save on my computer, listening to lots of LaFee, and doing research on my own family history (Great-Grandfather, you were awesome!), it all exploded into this burst of creativity.

This video is dedicated to the long history of Prussia and Germany as seen in Axis Powers Hetalia. Ehrfürchtig translates as "awesome" but can also be translated as "fearful," "reverent," and "religious," all of which, I feel, conveys themes evident in their history.

So I felt I should also record some adventures at AX. Problem is that I only took one picture (which I might commentary on at a later date >o>). The majority of these photos were taken by my sister, kylara, and my friend, smertz.

Since kylara also already made a post showing off the Bad Friends Trio at the Hetalia community, I'll just keep my post here in my humble little journal. But even if you have seen her post, there is plenty of new stuff!

The updated compilation of the Hetalia comics were posted here by spazzimidori the other day, and I spontaneously decided to translate a few missing pieces.

So (hopefully) this will finish off Chapters 2, 3, and 5!

Victory is mine!

Three sets of lovely cosplays all ready for Friday/Saturday and maybe Sunday. Well, Spain's shoulder armors need to be attached and I still need to cut France's waistband, but beside that, it's done! My fingers are still sticky from gluing the gold band and red flower to my hat (the only thing on the entire outfit that's glued!) Hopefully it'll look better when it dries. I'm looking at it across the room and it looks pretty good from a distance, at least. :3

First day of AX is... in a few hours. Need sleep! I'm taking the metro with my sis, kylara. The metro sucks but I'll grit my teeth and bear it. ;o; Luckily Friend Kay or Dee will drive the other days. >D Especially since I was tricked into driving Friend Kay and Ell to the Reagan Library a couple weeks ago!

And the un-official Hetalia gathering is Friday afternoon...! I hope more people plan to show up than what's listed. 8D

Finally met up with my best friends again since school "ended"--I still have summer school on Mon/Wed--and they were finally back in town. As a reunion, we did our favorite thing: go out to eat.

And so the adventure began~!

I've graduated! I have a lovely BA in History with a Management minor now. I have yet to see my official diploma (I should probably look into how to get it... something about turning in my graduation gown? But I bought that thing...!) but I'm sure it's gorgeous! The ceremony was decent enough, nothing too amazing! Finished off the ceremony at school with ice cream and molesting a statue during picture time... XD;

Speaking of pictures and molestation (lol, what) I've been working on a cosplay for AX. Not only that, I've dragged in two of my friends (who don't know anything about Hetalia except that it personifies countries) to cosplay with me as the Bad Friends Trio. I'll be Prussia, Friend Kay will be Spain, and Friend Dee will be France. XD (Friend's names censored, of course)

Last night, something exciting happened on campus! Too bad my school's Text Messaging Alert System (Which they've been trying out) was two hours late (three for my roommate.)

Ok, so here's how it went down:

3:50 - I arrive in the classroom for the Management Final.
4:00 - Test Start time. We all continue to look at our notes
4:10 - People begin putting notes away. Chatting commences.
4:15 - People get notes back out.
4:25 - The clock is being glanced at several times a minute.
4:30 - Guy announces that we should all just leave the class.
4:32 - Two people make a public display of leaving.
4:40 - A group of people begin putting their scantrons at the front of the class.  Most people join in, but few leave.
4:53 - Another student makes an announcement. Students have recieved an e-mail from the professor:
I just got home to this problem of the TA not showing up for the final. You are all dismissed. You will each receive an A on the final." WIN! Especially since instead of studying for it, I went out to eat bentos with everyone after the Japanese final earlier.

I begin this with an important thought: I need to stop procrastinating!
I just finished a mug of hot chocolate and am now eating those little stripped Kebler Elves cookies and NOT working.
